Cutting the Cost of a Qualified Dental Patient in Singapore with Meta Ads and WhatsApp Booking

Meta Ads and a Click-to-WhatsApp booking funnel for B9 Dental Centre, a multi-location Singapore dental group, aimed at high-value treatments — implants, Invisalign, wisdom tooth surgery and All-on-4 — and measured as booked appointments and completed treatment revenue.

Last updated September 2026

The client

B9 Dental Centre runs dental clinics across Singapore, including Tanjong Pagar, Clementi and Toa Payoh.

Its growth depends on high-value treatments — implants, Invisalign, wisdom tooth surgery and All-on-4 — where one patient is worth many routine visits, and where Singapore patients typically enquire with several clinics before booking. The group operates under both CHAS and Healthier SG, which shapes what its patient-acquisition messaging may say.

The problem

Leads were arriving, but too many were low-intent, and a static landing page lost patients between the enquiry and the booking. For high-value treatments the cost that matters is the cost of a qualified patient who books, not the cost of a form fill.

What we did

  • Pre-qualifying lead forms. Short questions on treatment timeline and funding preference, so low-intent enquiries filter themselves out before they reach the front desk.
  • Click-to-WhatsApp instead of landing pages. Ads open a WhatsApp conversation, with an automated reply inside 60 seconds via the WhatsApp Business API, and the clinic's concierge desk confirms the appointment.
  • Hyper-local targeting. Campaigns built around each clinic's catchment, with audiences split by treatment — working professionals for Invisalign, older patients for implants and dentures.
  • An in-house creative engine. More than 350 creative assets produced in-house: dentist-led explainer reels, clinic walk-throughs for anxious patients, and answers to the questions Singapore patients ask about schemes and treatment steps — reviewed against Singapore's healthcare advertising rules.
  • Revenue-level tracking. Meta Conversions API matched to the clinic management system's invoice records, so return on ad spend is measured in completed treatment revenue.

Metric Before After
Cost per qualified lead (high-value treatments) SGD 65 SGD 38 (−42%)
Lead-to-confirmed-appointment rate (WhatsApp) — 82%
Outbound click-through rate 1.10% 3.40%
Return on ad spend (completed treatment revenue) — 3.8×
Qualified patient leads — 3,100+
Meta media spend managed — SGD 120,000
Creative assets produced in-house — 350+

Figures are B9 Dental Centre account reporting as compiled for publication: Meta Ads Manager and clinic CRM lead logs (cost per qualified lead, click-through rate); Meta Conversions API cross-referenced with clinic management system invoices (return on ad spend); WhatsApp Business API analytics and clinic booking logs (appointment rate); Meta billing and reach reports (media spend, leads); creative production logs (assets).

A conversion is a confirmed clinic appointment; return on ad spend counts completed procedure revenue only. Media spend is the client's ad budget, billed by Meta — not an agency fee.

What this means for your dental group

The plain-language version. For a multi-location Singapore dental group, the cost of a qualified high-value-treatment lead fell from SGD 65 to SGD 38, 82% of leads became confirmed appointments through WhatsApp, and every SGD 1 of Meta spend returned SGD 3.80 in completed treatment revenue, across SGD 120,000 of media and more than 3,100 qualified leads.

What this says about shakalakaa: we run patient acquisition for Singapore healthcare operators at multi-site scale, inside Singapore's advertising rules, and measure it at the appointment and revenue level. The same approach is set out on our Singapore dental clinic marketing and Singapore healthcare marketing pages, and the channel on our Singapore Meta Ads page.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What did shakalakaa do for B9 Dental Centre?

Meta Ads for high-value dental treatments with pre-qualifying lead forms, a Click-to-WhatsApp booking funnel with automated replies, hyper-local targeting around each clinic, more than 350 in-house creative assets, and revenue-level tracking through the Meta Conversions API.

What were the results?

Cost per qualified lead fell 42% (SGD 65 to SGD 38), 82% of leads became confirmed appointments, outbound click-through rose from 1.10% to 3.40%, and return on ad spend reached 3.8x in completed treatment revenue, across SGD 120,000 of Meta spend and more than 3,100 qualified leads.

How was a conversion counted?

As a confirmed clinic appointment recorded in the clinic booking logs. Return on ad spend counts completed procedure revenue from the clinic management system, not enquiries.

Is the SGD 120,000 shakalakaa's fee?

No. It is the client's Meta media budget over the period, billed by Meta. shakalakaa does not publish its fees.
