The client

Kim Guan Guan is a Singapore coffee roaster, roasting since 1988, known for traditional Nanyang kopi powder and its Kim's Duet steep kopi and teh bags. It sells to households through its own Shopify store and TikTok Shop, and to businesses — cafes, hotels, offices and events with live kopi-pulling stations — through wholesale.

The problem

At the start of 2025 the store took about SGD 18,500 a month, converted 1.25% of visitors and averaged SGD 22.50 an order.

The brand ranked between positions five and twelve on Google Singapore for its category searches, TikTok Ads returned SGD 1.30 for every SGD 1.00, and wholesale enquiries arrived at about twelve a month with no dedicated pages to land on.

What we did

  • Search architecture. Product collections and a blog built around the roaster's heritage, the steep-bag range and B2B coffee supply, with Product schema for price and stock snippets and Organization schema carrying the ISO 22000 roastery credentials.
  • B2B pages that route to sales. Dedicated landing pages for cafe operators, hotel breakfast stations, corporate pantries and event kopi stations, with a short enquiry form routed straight to the sales team on WhatsApp.
  • Shopify conversion work. A mix-and-match kopi box bundle builder, one-click cart add-ons, PayNow, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and GrabPay checkout, faster mobile pages and heritage and ISO trust badges on product pages.
  • Subscriptions and reorders. Recurring office-pantry subscriptions, and Klaviyo reorder reminders every 30 days that brought 28% of customers back to buy again.
  • TikTok Ads and creators. GMV Max campaigns on TikTok Shop, 180+ local food and lifestyle creators seeded with trial boxes for home-brewing reviews, and Spark Ads timed to TikTok Shop payday sales.
