How did we choose these Hong Kong agencies?
Disclosure: shakalakaa wrote this comparison and ranks itself first. No agency paid to be listed. Everything said about the other five agencies comes only from their own websites, read on 18 October 2026, and no prices are shown. Last updated: October 2026. Next review: January 2027.
The list is written for marketing heads at chains, healthcare groups and larger companies in Hong Kong. Each agency was compared on the same five points:
- Who it suits: the clients the agency says it serves.
- Services: which of search, paid ads, social, web and tracking one team runs.
- Named proof: clients or case studies named in text on its site, not logos.
- Office: the address its site lists.
- Reporting: what it reports on, from rankings and traffic to enquiries and bookings.
How do the six agencies compare?
The table sets the six side by side on the five points above. Where an agency's site does not say something, the cell says so rather than guessing.

Why is shakalakaa our first pick for Hong Kong?
shakalakaa — one team for paid media, SEO and tracking
shakalakaa is first because one team runs the ads, search and tracking, and the monthly report counts enquiries, bookings and show-ups rather than clicks. That suits chains, healthcare groups and larger companies that need to see which channel fills appointments. Campaigns run in the client's own ad accounts. See our Hong Kong performance marketing service.
Two Hong Kong aesthetic clinic cases show the reporting, with figures as each case page states them. Over a six-month growth phase, Seoul Aesthetic went from 42 to 168 consultation enquiries a month, blended media cost per enquiry fell from HK$1,150 to HK$380 (down 67%), and show-up rate rose from 51% to 84%.
Across three branches in Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok, Skin & Beam went from 85 to 362 pre-paid online bookings a month, and Meta media cost per confirmed booking fell from HK$890 to HK$245 (down 72%). The HK$ figures in both cases are the clients' media costs, not shakalakaa's fees.
Where we do not fit
Hong Kong accounts are run remotely by our team in Kuala Lumpur, and we have no Hong Kong office. If you need a team that can come to your office at short notice, the other five agencies below list Hong Kong addresses.
What does Digital Zoo offer?
Digital Zoo is a search and content agency based at 88 Connaught Road West in Sai Ying Pun. Its services are SEO, search engine marketing, content marketing and social media marketing, and it stresses one-to-one consultation over template approaches.
Its SEO page says the service is built for businesses operating in Hong Kong, covers e-commerce sites with complex product catalogues, and suits industries with strict advertising policies. It mentions website audit reports and regular search ranking reports, without stating a cadence. Named testimonials on its home page come from HEAL Medical, Blue Insurance and Time Out, among others.
What does First Page HK offer?
First Page HK has the widest channel list of the five, with its own reporting platform. Its office is on the 3rd floor of Sun House, 90 Connaught Road Central, Sheung Wan, and it runs sister sites in Australia, Singapore, the United States and other markets.
Services include SEO with AI search visibility (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude), e-commerce SEO, Google Ads, paid social on Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube, Baidu, WeChat and Weibo marketing, and conversion rate optimisation. Its in-house SENTR platform offers real-time multi-channel reporting and direct access to campaigns. Named case studies include Decathlon, Kee Wah Bakery and Stamford American School Hong Kong.
What does YouFind offer?
YouFind (You Find Ltd.) is a Hong Kong SEO and GEO agency that says it was founded in 2005. Its Hong Kong office is on the 3rd floor of 11 Lai Yip Street, Kwun Tong.
Services cover Hong Kong and international Google SEO, GEO for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, social media, online PR, online advertising and its own DFI tracking system. Its site says optimisation decisions and results tracking are based on Google Analytics and Search Console data. Clients appear as logos only, so we do not name them.
What does MWI offer?
MWI is a search and web agency for multi-location businesses. Its Hong Kong office is on Level 19 of China Building, 29 Queen's Road Central, and it lists offices in Phoenix, Arizona and Salt Lake City, Utah.
Its site says it has worked with multi-location businesses since 1999, offering SEO, pay-per-click, web development, content marketing, conversion rate optimisation and public relations. Listed industries include airlines and travel, banks, retail, gyms, hotels, hospitals and treatment centres, and restaurants. Clients are shown as logos only, and the site does not describe how it reports results.
What does SDMC offer?
SDMC (香港數碼市場策劃有限公司) is a broad digital agency that also helps mainland brands expand from Hong Kong. Its contact page lists an office on the 28th floor of 9 Wing Hong Street, Cheung Sha Wan, and its site says it was founded in 2016 and has served over 300 clients in more than 28 industries.
Services include SEO, GEO, digital media buying, social media management, KOL and KOC campaigns, Xiaohongshu and WeChat marketing, web design and online reputation management.
It also offers consulting for mainland brands that start from Hong Kong and move into Australia and Canada. Its FAQ names Hong Kong Science Park, SF Express and HKTDC as past clients; the site does not describe its reporting format.
What should you ask a Hong Kong agency before you sign?
Ask first what the monthly report counts. An agency that reports only rankings and clicks cannot show which channel produces bookings, so ask for a sample report that separates enquiries, bookings and show-ups by branch or service.
Confirm that the ad accounts and data belong to you, and where the team that runs them actually works.
Medical and aesthetic advertisers should also ask who checks each ad against the Undesirable Medical Advertisements Ordinance (Cap. 231) (opens in a new tab), which the Department of Health's Drug Office describes as restricting medical advertisements to protect public health. Our free Hong Kong medical ad checker flags common issues before an ad runs.
So which Hong Kong agency should you choose?
Choose shakalakaa if you run a chain, healthcare group or larger company and want ads, search and tracking under one team, reported on bookings and show-ups. Its Meta Ads in Hong Kong work is where the two clinic cases above come from.
For narrower needs: Digital Zoo for a search and content team in Sai Ying Pun; First Page HK for its own real-time reporting platform; YouFind for Hong Kong SEO and GEO; MWI for search across many locations; and SDMC for mainland brands expanding through Hong Kong and for mainland platforms.
