Who we work with in Hong Kong financial services
We work with licensed corporations, insurers and brokers, fintechs and wealth firms whose buyers compare several providers and whose every ad, landing page and creator post needs a compliance sign-off. As a fintech marketing agency in Hong Kong, we also work with platforms whose sign-up flow has to carry the same warnings as their ads.
What we run
- Compliant paid search and social. Campaigns built so each ad carries its own warnings, through our performance marketing and Google Ads teams.
- Lead funnels with suitability-safe wording. Landing pages that describe a product and invite an enquiry, without recommending it to the reader.
- CRM follow-up. Enquiries routed to licensed staff, with a record of what each person was shown.
- SEO and AI search. Content for insurance marketing in Hong Kong and wealth management marketing in Hong Kong that answers buyers' questions without promising returns.
What Hong Kong's financial advertising rules change in practice
Under section 103 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance, an advertisement inviting the public to invest needs SFC authorisation unless an exemption applies, and the exemptions for licensed firms do not cover unauthorised funds.
The SFC Code of Conduct (paragraph 2.3) requires advertisements not to be false, disparaging, misleading or deceptive, and fund advertisements must carry risk warnings and dated, sourced performance figures and must not say "guaranteed" or "no risk" unless the fund has a guarantee feature.
- For insurance, the Insurance Authority expects every social post to stand on its own, with risks and exclusions as prominent as benefits, and agents and brokers may use only materials their insurer, agency or broker has approved.
- So each creative, landing page and creator post gets a compliance sign-off and a kept record before it goes live. Confirm specifics with your compliance team.
Our experience
Hong Kong financial-services work is new for us. We run financial-services acquisition in Australia and Singapore, and we bring the same discipline here: approvals before launch, warnings beside claims, and reporting on qualified enquiries.
